Dr. Bishoy Hanna Treats Patients With Care & Compassion

Dr. Bishoy Hanna is passionate about delivering the best quality of care. He focuses on your comfort during your visits to our office.

His journey toward a career in dentistry began when he graduated from Rutgers State University in New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology, and a minor in chemistry. Dr. Hanna went on to earn a master’s degree in biomedical science from Rutgers Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. He received his DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine.

From there, Dr. Hanna completed his General Practice Residency at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Hanna is continuing his education in implant and digital dentistry. In his free time, Dr. Hanna enjoys spending time with his wife and family.

I was an emergency “walk in” and I was treated like I was their most important patient. When I called out of the blue to request emergency care, Lori made sure I would be taken care of. She said she would get back to me by the end of the day. Sometime before 2:00 pm she called and told me I had an appointment for 10:00 am the next morning. I’m sure she have gotten me in sooner if I were in pain. I filled out the forms on line and saved a lot of time. I arrived at 9:50 and was in the chair by 10:00. I am approaching 80 and Dr. Ruiz is the best dentist who ever treated me. He knew what he was doing, asked me regularly how I was doing, explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. Plus, he is likable.

He explains what issues I have and what procedures need to be done. He has always taken the best care in treating me and my family. The hygenist, Heather, is also quite skilled and a pleasure to be with.

Dr. R is the best and the office staff and dental assistants are very professional people.
